The fun has just begun! It?s the first night of Alpha II and I am personally pumped. This is always a great week for me because I have so many friends at this camp and I can just relax and hang out. So our theme for this year is: ?Alpha II ? The Greatest Camp on Earth.? I have known the theme since March and when I first heard of it I knew it was going to be a crazy week.

I went to the circus when I was around eight and loved it so I?m very interested to see just how they turn all 352 of us into star circus performers. Yes that?s right I said 352!! I also was informed that there are more people on the way so hopefully by tomorrow I?ll have a more accurate number for you.

If you didn?t already know Alpha camps have campers from ages 10 ? 21. ?The Alphas? evolved after they decided to have state 4-H camps that were coed. Before these it was just Girls State and Boys State. I have been an Alpha II camper for six years this year. I can already see from today that this camp is going to be one of the best Alphas ever!
